In the winter of 2023, we decided to completely reconstruct our cottage. The main material of this reconstruction was to be wood. We decided not only to preserve the two tall larches in the garden, but they also inspired us to use their high-quality wood as much as possible. Larch wood is therefore part of many elements of the cottage and the spacious garden.

These trees, together with hornbeams, dominate the southern part of the garden, providing plenty of shade for relaxation in the hot summer months. The opposite side of the garden is completely different, full of sun all day long, with an herb garden and a beautiful red beech.

 

In the fall of 2024, an outdoor sauna with a capacity of up to 8 people was added.
